1. Services
Monsieur Click provides local SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), custom website creation, Google Business Profile management, and monthly optimization services (collectively, "the Services") to small businesses, freelancers, and contractors.
A detailed scope of work is provided in each service agreement. Unless otherwise stated in writing, all services are provided on a monthly subscription basis with a minimum commitment period as specified in the pricing plan (6 or 12 months).
2. No Guarantee of Results
Monsieur Click does not guarantee specific search engine rankings, positions, traffic volumes, or revenue increases.
Search engine optimization is inherently uncertain. Google, Bing, and other search engines — as well as AI platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini — modify their algorithms, ranking factors, and citation criteria regularly and without notice. A change in algorithm can affect rankings overnight, regardless of the quality of the work performed.
By engaging our services, you acknowledge and accept that:
- No SEO, GEO, or digital marketing strategy can guarantee a specific position, ranking, or outcome.
- Results achieved during the engagement are not permanent and may decline if services are discontinued.
- Competitors, algorithm changes, platform policy updates, and market conditions are outside our control.
- Historical performance does not guarantee future results.
3. Ongoing Work Required
SEO and GEO are not one-time efforts. Visibility on search engines and AI platforms requires continuous monitoring, content updates, technical maintenance, and strategic adaptation.
Without regular optimization work (content updates, technical fixes, backlink maintenance, AI crawler optimization, and algorithm adaptation), rankings and AI citations will naturally decline over time. Monsieur Click is not liable for loss of visibility or traffic that occurs after the termination of a service agreement.
4. Client Responsibilities
To enable us to deliver the Services effectively, you agree to:
- Provide timely access to your website, Google Business Profile, analytics accounts, and other relevant platforms.
- Respond to reasonable requests for information, approvals, and feedback within 5 business days.
- Maintain ownership and control of your domain name, hosting, and online accounts.
- Not engage in or request practices that violate search engine guidelines (black-hat SEO, keyword stuffing, cloaking, etc.).
5. Payment Terms
All fees are billed monthly in advance, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payments are processed through our secure payment provider. Late payments may result in a suspension of services until the outstanding balance is settled.
Pricing plans are as follows:
- Simple Plan: €850/month (6-month minimum commitment)
- Complex Plan: €1,000/month (12-month minimum commitment)
- Advanced Plan: €1,500/month (12-month minimum commitment)
All prices are in Euros. VAT may apply where required by law. Prices are subject to change with 30 days written notice.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time after the minimum commitment period by providing 30 days written notice. No refunds are provided for partial months or for work already completed (strategy, research, content, technical setup, optimization work).
Monsieur Click reserves the right to terminate an agreement with 30 days notice if a client fails to meet their responsibilities, engages in prohibited practices, or repeatedly fails to provide the information necessary to deliver the Services.
7. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, you retain ownership of all custom content, design, and code created specifically for your project. Monsieur Click retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio and case studies, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All methodologies, frameworks, processes, tools, and proprietary systems used to deliver the Services remain the intellectual property of Monsieur Click.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Monsieur Click shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business opportunities, or loss of search engine rankings.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services is limited to the total fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
This limitation applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if Monsieur Click has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Third-Party Platforms
Our Services involve work on third-party platforms (Google, Facebook, Cloudflare, WordPress, HighLevel, etc.). Monsieur Click has no control over the policies, availability, or functionality of these platforms. Changes to a third-party platform's terms, API, or policies may affect the Services and are beyond our control.
10. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary information shared during the engagement, including business data, passwords (where provided for service delivery), strategies, and internal processes. This clause survives the termination of the agreement.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall first be submitted to amicable resolution. If no resolution is reached within 60 days, the dispute shall be brought before the competent courts of Paris, France.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
