Terms and conditions

1. Services

Monsieur Click provides local SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), custom website design, Google Business Profile management and monthly optimization services (collectively, “the Services”) to small businesses, freelancers and service providers.

A detailed description of the deliverables is provided in each service contract. Unless otherwise stated in writing, all services are provided on a monthly subscription basis with a minimum commitment period as specified in the pricing plan (6 or 12 months).

2. No guarantee of results

Monsieur Click does not guarantee any specific search engine ranking, position, traffic volume or revenue increase.

SEO is inherently uncertain. Google, Bing and other search engines, as well as AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini, regularly change their algorithms, ranking factors and citation criteria without notice. By using our services, you acknowledge that: no strategy can guarantee a specific position; results achieved during the engagement are not permanent and may decline if the services stop; competitors, algorithm changes and market conditions are beyond our control; past performance does not guarantee future results.

3. Ongoing work required

SEO and GEO are not one-off efforts. Visibility requires continuous monitoring, content updates, technical maintenance and strategic adaptation. Without regular optimization work, rankings and AI citations will naturally decline. Monsieur Click is not responsible for any loss of visibility that occurs after a contract ends.

4. Client responsibilities

• Provide prompt access to your website, Google Business Profile, analytics accounts and relevant platforms.
• Respond to requests for information, approvals and feedback within 5 business days.
• Retain ownership and control of your domain name, hosting and online accounts.
• Not use or request techniques that break search engine guidelines (black-hat SEO, cloaking, etc.).

5. Payment terms

All fees are billed monthly in advance, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The pricing plans are: Essential €850/month (6-month commitment), Growth €1,000/month (12-month commitment), Expansion €1,500/month (12-month commitment). All prices are in euros; VAT may apply. Prices may change with 30 days’ written notice.

At the end of the initial 6- or 12-month commitment period, the client may choose to continue with ongoing SEO optimization at a lower rate, on terms agreed in writing, or to keep only website hosting and maintenance at €59/month. This hosting and maintenance option covers the routine technical upkeep of the website, excluding SEO optimization, new content, redesign, custom development or any work not covered by the contract.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time after the minimum commitment period, with 30 days’ written notice. No refunds are given for partial months or for work already completed.

7. Intellectual property

Once paid in full, you own the content, design and code created specifically for your project. Monsieur Click retains the right to display the work in its portfolio and case studies, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Proprietary methodologies, frameworks and systems remain the property of Monsieur Click.

Click First™ is a registered trademark of Monsieur Click. The Click First™ name, logo and method are protected. Any reproduction, imitation or use of the trademark without prior written permission is prohibited.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Monsieur Click cannot be held liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, profits, data or rankings. Our total liability is limited to the total fees paid in the 3 months before the claim.

9. Third-party platforms

Our Services involve work on third-party platforms (Google, Meta, Cloudflare, WordPress, HighLevel, etc.). Monsieur Click has no control over their policies, availability or features.

10. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary information shared during the engagement. This clause survives the end of the contract.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will first be submitted to amicable resolution and, failing that, brought before the competent courts of Paris, France.

12. Changes

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date.
